So days have already started losing meaning. Instead of morning, afternoon, and evening, I feel like I have Phase A and Phase B. Immediate effects? 1) Had ambition to start my ticket scalping business. 2)Made an awful purchase and shut down the business. 3)Kept making wrong turns through hometown. I think the first thing I've noticed is a lack of sharpness.
The 530-7 PM nap went off without a hitch. I actually thought I had slept for more like 2-3 hours, so I guess that's a good sign.
What to do with all the extra time? I dunno... I guess an 8 hour work day and commute on either side will start to take up some time. I plan to go for a 6 mile run upon waking, hopefully that will keep me energized throughout Phase A. Sleep plan is from 2-630AM. I am feeling tired and hungry so I'll make a snack and sleep for 4.5

This is not going to be easy....
So, my original plan of sleeping from 2-630 became 3-730 and finally, 412-845. I could not fall asleep, as I had a laxed day with maybe 12 hours of sleep the night before. Hopefully this shakes things up. I woke up in the middle of a dream and remember some of it. OAR made an appearance and I was on a train with stairs telling jokes, filling in pieces of my life electronically.
I have been yawning and almost bailed right back to sleep upon waking, but thanks to Grid's joining the team, I persevered. Really looking forward to the nap though.
Happy Birthday Shanter.
Listen to "Insomnia" by the UK band faithless. They know techno across the pond. If anyone else wants to join the biphasic bandwagon, let me/grid know. That way we'll be able to chat or do something in the wee hours.
What will I do with the extra time? I might try to start my ticket brokerage business, selling concert tickets and sporting event tickets. Always have thought about doing it but never tried. For now I fight to stay awake....

Day 1, 00:00:00
So i'm bored and like trying new things. Enter biphasic sleeping into my life. The plan is to sleep for 1 core period during the nite, for 4.5 hours. This is followed by a 1.5 hour nap later in the day. Apparently, the sleep is more effective as more of it is spent in REM. I only will wake on 90 minute intervals as to not arise during a deep REM pattern. Willing myself awake after 4.5 hours of nightly sleep will prove tough as a start, but as I am jobless for the next 10 days, I feel like its worth a try. Hopefully we can all track my progress together and everyone's lives will change for the better. Tonight's sleep plan is ~2-6:30AM. I will wake up with the birds, maybe even go for a run or jump rope. Wish me luck, folks
