So i'm bored and like trying new things. Enter biphasic sleeping into my life. The plan is to sleep for 1 core period during the nite, for 4.5 hours. This is followed by a 1.5 hour nap later in the day. Apparently, the sleep is more effective as more of it is spent in REM. I only will wake on 90 minute intervals as to not arise during a deep REM pattern. Willing myself awake after 4.5 hours of nightly sleep will prove tough as a start, but as I am jobless for the next 10 days, I feel like its worth a try. Hopefully we can all track my progress together and everyone's lives will change for the better. Tonight's sleep plan is ~2-6:30AM. I will wake up with the birds, maybe even go for a run or jump rope. Wish me luck, folks
In other news: market got slammed!, Braves win, whats up keith partyin cool.

you know what, Brian, I will join you...I've been wasting to much time being a long-sleeper. I feel that lucid dreaming, which may be a benefit of biphasic sleeping, extends your life beyond its natural realms and, in essence, causes one to lead two lifetimes. Pretty profound for practical lucid virgin. We'll see.
This should be easier with a graduate students lifestyle.
